Basic Price: £80

A 20-minute Scale and Polish appointment is £80. This appointment focuses on removing plaque and tartar build-up, polishing the teeth and assessing gum health. For many patients attending regularly, this is sufficient to maintain healthy gums and fresh breath.

Some clinics require you to be registered to have a hygiene appointment. For patients who are not currently registered with Hampshire Dental, we offer Direct Access Hygiene appointments at £85. This allows you to see our hygienist without first having a dental examination at the practice. It is a popular option for those who are mainly focused on professional cleaning and gum maintenance.

If you are new to the practice and would like a more comprehensive starting point, our New Patient Examination is £89. This includes a full dental examination, a hygiene appointment and two small X-rays where clinically necessary. Many patients find this offers excellent value, as it provides both assessment and cleaning in one visit.

Deposits & Other Fees

Many clinics require a deposit for any appointments. We ask for a £25 deposit, which is deducted from your treatment cost on the day. If an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, the deposit is retained to cover the clinician’s time. We also charge a £39 late cancellation or non-attendance fee. These policies allow us to manage our diary fairly and ensure availability for patients who need care.

Membership C – £37.63 per month

This includes four hygiene appointments per year, two dental health examinations per year, alongside small X-rays where clinically necessary, emergency assessment, a free cosmetic consultation, and free appointments for children under five of plan patients.
